I get there around 8. For the first time had to eat 2 of the only hot dogs on the grill. Very limited. Subway closed at 7:30. Cooler was not stocked. Many holes. Parking very limited. Staff was friendly. Id suggest go across to 7 11 to eat and hopefully find a parking spot here for 20$.

Let’s start with water pressure…Holy Cow, hang on to your mustache hair…it’s powerful. One only needs to stand in front of the shower output and it practically blasts the stink right off of you. Hot water? Oh my it is Hot Hot almost to the point of “be careful”. It is wonderful after driving all day. The shower facility was clean overall, with minor soap scum and some mildew. It could be cured by a good steam gun, but that is hardly the fault of the staff as they probably don’t have access to one (hint hint PFJ corporate), which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The staff are very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Subway was in the process of baking cookies so that just topped off the visit. No worries here. Wear your shower shoes and enjoy the hot water.

I come to this truck stop all the time and I always have a problem getting truck parking here, this is this first time I’ve ever got a parking sport here and I’ve seen at least a dozen of drivers unload or load their personal belongings to go home. Does the Pilot/ Flying J offer free weekend and time off parking? I’m asking because for the drivers that are working, especially during the weekend, it’s almost impossible to find parking just to stop and have lunch or to spend a night. Pilot/ Flying J is usually my pick of truck stops to spend my hard earned money at but the management NEEDS to be aware of this situation and something needs to be done. And also, half the trucks that are parked in the Reserve Parking spaces don’t even have a paid parking tag on their windshields, and some of these trucks will be parked here for the whole weekend or longer.

This place is famous for always having broken pumps for many days. The only way to get out of here quickly is very early in the morning. If you can avoid it, this would be your best option. It is almost always a problem to get diesel here. People leave their trucks at the pump and go inside to eat, nobody says anything to them, this place is a mess. Inside the girls have good service and the bathrooms are clean. The problem is always outside.

Shall I start with the dead body I woke up to in front of my truck about 30 to 40 yards away or the poor customer service when questions are asked or how about the showers that literally feel like hell if I could imagine it, can't leave out the fact that this place has only 2 rows of parking, first row reserved and lot is full 24hrs a day, good luck finding parking! I asked another bobtail who paid for a semi spot if I could park behind him and he said yes, but here comes a pilot employee telling me I must move from a space that's been paid for even though the person and truck was there and the reason was because I had no paper permit, what a farce! I told the manager and employees about the showers being super hot and you can feel the heat rush out when you open the door, rather than looking into it, here comes the ludicrous explanations that insults the intelligence of drivers who frequent these truck stops in 48 states and Canada. By all means I hope Knoxville is reading this and I will be calling to make a formal complaint! Oh yeah, I'm on day 8 of working this area with Hurricane Relief from Milton and a car just ran into the Boss Shops manager parked car. That's enough for n
